The project involved the restoration of an historic Grade 1 listed Manor House and Gallery building, as well as the construction of a new Garden Room Restaurant within the ground of Walpole Park, Ealing Green. T4 were responsible for the entire Mechanical Package which ranged from building to building. Great care had to be given regarding the execution of the works in order to maintain the integrity of the delicate listed Manor House and Gallery building which consisted of items such as new Air Conditioned Gallery Exhibition area, Underfloor Heating, Fan Convectors, Trench Heating and Natural Ventilation systems. The Manor House mechanical services were fed from a plantroom located within the adjacent building in the Gallery Area, and therefore much work was involved with underground heating distribution pipework. The Restaurant is a standalone system which included for Ground Source Heat Pump as well as other renewable energy solutions such as Solar Thermal Panels.
